When Registration Goes Live

I was also trigger happy and hoping to not have to reload cart

I just assumed it would tell me "registration is not yet open"....

 

Note that Pre-Registration will open Saturday, January 30th, at 3pm EST.

Just popped up on top of my screen. Anyone else? Also judging by the fact that forums seem to reload slow like the cart page, im guessing they are hosting them on same server? Oh my.

Okay, as of 12:11, I have not had a checkout button appear despite numerous page reloads and cart updates. Just where it this button supposed to be.

 

You've got to be kidding me...
There is no way that this should occur year after year after year!
I know some GameholeCon folks are involved at least in a minor way with this years Gary Con. I think the Gamehold folks should be hired to take on management of GaryCon registration entriely. Their process was extremely smooth this year.

 

Yeah, Gamehole guys run their con pretty smoothly.

12:14 -- I tried logging off and logging back on, and still no checkout button. I also cleared the cache.

 

Look at top of screen, they bumped back reg time...At least thats what it says for me.

 

I tried a different browser, and still the only buttons on the cart page are Apply Coupon and Update Cart.

 

Okay, now I see the later time for registration. Thanks datagoblin.

 

Apparently there was a "compromise in the system" that caused some to be able to jump the gun and register. Now we wait... and scream loudly.

 

So, what exactly are we supposed to see at 3pm, and where?

 

Sooooo I have my cart refilled and I see that I have my coins back. Crossed fingers that it goes smoothly at 3 PM EST.
