Not to fear, there is another... one on Thursday and one on Sunday but one of them is not listed a featured event!
If you scan the events, you can see that non-featured seats have been sold. Doesn't seem like many, but that's just because it's spread across 10x as many events, I suppose.
Hmm, these numbers seem off to me (just grabbed the catalog and did a quick analysis): number of events: 1,271 featured events: 137 events with 904 of 965 seats available Time to double check my math I guess.
Some of the LoW events (including where events are being offered more than once) were redesignated as regular events instead of featured events. The listing I have for the changes include: 1) Cavaliers and Roundheads Sandy Downs. 2) 1967 Arab-Israeli War—Battle of Bir La 3) 1967 Arab-Israeli War—Jiradi Pass 4) Don't Give Up The Ship! 5) Braunstein IV: Banania 6) Chainmail Fantasy Orcs Drift This probably accounts for the change in math.
When I look at the csv file from TTE and remove the above listed games, I end up with 137 featured events and 55 seats gone. When I go through each featured event online I end up with 137 featured events having 67 seats gone. One feature event has no seats left (game with Frank Mentzer Saturday evening) and another feature events has one seat left (game with Mike Mearls Friday evening). Based on the VIG badges there could be up to 72 seats gone in the featured events if each individual does the maximum allowed. There seems to be a lag of up to 24 hours regarding the csv file matching the online event numbers of seats sold.
I found the csv definitely doesn't keep up. I was thinking maybe the csv only populates once a day. Although I also found that the new csv would appear automatically on one computer, while on another I had to clear cookies and cache to get it to change.
What I have discovered is that the current csv (at 3:30pm central today) matches my event selection as of 3:13pm central yesterday. However, it has not caught up to my event selection as of 8:41pm central yesteday.
Interesting. When I was checking my data vs the TTE csv I was off by 8 FE. I'll try again tomorrow morning and see. Thanks for checking.
Shouldn't the total number of FE that Diamond and Platinum can have be only 52? (4*4+12*3)? Or is the number of those badges off? I'm just going by what's on the the badge page: http://garycon.com/registration/
The actual count of badges sold is on the TTE. The TTE page lists 9 and 12 respectively so (4*9)+(3*12) 72.
Ah, thanks. I missed the change in diamond badges it seems. Also, I only count 64 FE seats being used. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm off again. Close enough since folks should double check stuff when pulled from a non-official source.
Looks like 5 Regular Events have been added. Updated my program to show total seats left. number of events: 1,276 featured events: 137 events with 899 of 965 seats available total_seats: 9,804, available_seats: 9,647
