I think online might have more "friction" than in person. When you are at the con in person you are either gaming, resting, eating, etc. When virtual...well, you can do all sorts of other stuff instead. Just a guess though.

I also feel that being online is a lot more taxing than in person some times. When I'm done with a game online I tend to want to decompress more than I would at a con.

I still want to decompress at a con but it's a lot easier when your bed, fridge, etc are mere steps away instead of blocks or however long the Grand is
