Auction--Do Games Take Break?

    I think I ask this every year, so I'll ask again. :)

    Do running games take a break so players can attend the annual auction?

    AFAIK, officially, no, but kind GMs might pause if the delay won't mess up their schedule (i.e. they KNOW no one will be waiting for their table space).

    That was the original plan for the first 1-2 GCs, but I'm pretty sure the last 2-3, they've gone away from that.

    We stopped gaming for the first couple years, but some GMs did not appreciate having to stop their game mid-stream. So there is no official shut down for the auction.

    Thanks, guys. Luke, could you remind us of when the auction is? I will plan my schedule accordingly. It's one of my favorite events of the con!

    Saturday at 5 PM IIRC. I believe its been held at that time each year.

    Chuck, to answer your question 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on how many "goodies' have been offered up.
