    First time Garycon attendee/gm...

Just looking for the names of some of the local food joints that me and the mrs should try to eat at while we're in the area.

We've heard tell of Popeye's - so that's on the list.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner, what's the scoop for good eats/drinks nearby?!?

    Larry

ps-we're actually offsite for hotel, so downtown is ok too.

Egg Harbor Cafe has good breakfast, though they tend to be a bit pricey.

The Next Door Pub was an old TSR hangout. Good pizza.

Daddy Maxwells in Williams Bay is where I have eaten breakfast for the last 3 years running.

Best dining in Southeastern Wisconsin is just down the hill and on the other side of the Chalet- The French Country Inn, but sadly they are still under renovation.

Hernandez in Delavan is the best Mexican, Moy's in Elkhorn is the best Chinese, and with all due respect to the Next Door Pub, the best pizza is Larducci's in Elkhorn, but it's carry out only. All are within 10 minutes of the hotel.

Café Calamari in Williams Bay for sit down Italian, or Rigatony's in Delavan for carryout Italian. Klaws in Lake Geneva is great for fast food and Tempura House, just down the street from Gary's House, for Japanese and Sushi- not a fan myself, but I hear good things. Also, Sprecher's Pub in Lake Geneva is an up and coming spot.

    Good luck and good eating!

we hit up the next door pub on way into Lake Geneva - good pub grub.

will keep all these others in mind on the great food crawl here.
