I just literally got off the phone with the Resort and the only dates left for any on site stay for Gary Con VII are the 25th and 26th. If anybody cancels and has already made reservations please contact me I'd be more than willing to get a room on site. Thanks. Daniel Gosz "Zog"
What I did was make a reservation for the 25th checking out on the 27th. Then again the night of the 29th. If something doesn't open up by the time of the con I'll get me a hotel room about 35 minutes away in Janestown, WI or anywhere else available. Or sleep in the car..... Hope something opens up for Friday and Saturday night but if not I'll still be their.
Might go that route. Yet figured since already will have a car rental due to flying in to Chicago or Madison might as well to a Holiday Inn of some sort. Get free rooms due to wives travels. Just did a six week drive across the nation and had to actually pay for 9 nights. All the others were free. :O)
Wow, I had no idea that the hotel would get filled up so quickly. Any recommendations for nearby hotels that are not already booked up yet?
