Has the open gaming area been determined yet? Just asking since it looks like the areas for events are mostly determined. Thanks.
There will be open gaming- it's a staple of Gary Con. Our team mostly has been focused on getting the registered games mapped out (no small task). Now that we're over that hump, you should see reference maps soon that will include where the the open gaming areas are.
Please provide the start time associated with open gaming. Previously it was expressed in terms of Thursday morning. Will there be areas on Wednesday? Starting when?
I figure that if the OG area is clear...nobody will care if youre there, regardless of when it "officially" opens.
That's pretty much true. Open gaming is just that- if it's open, play. If you are squatting on a numbered table and a registered game shows up, you'll be asked to move, but there will be plenty of open tables specifically for open gaming that will not have any scheduled events on them. And there is no set time- play from when you arrive until you leave!
I am confirming with the hotel that we can start playing after noon in our designated areas. I have not received confirmation yet.
