Hi Frank! Thank you so much for hosting again, it's so kind of you and Debbie to welcome us all into your home. I'll be there with 2 others (3 total). See you in just over a week!
I can provide a ride for 2 extra people. Heading out to Franks from the hotel ~2:3opm. Returning after the party is over. Meet me in lobby if you need a ride.
bak after coast-to-coast travels All plans still on track, expecting 100+ (spread across the whole time, 3 pm to whenever) Parking on the lawn should work (still frozen), or park downtown if you prefer Holler if you have any questions, cya here F
I'll be there and will be bringing a handful of (5 total - including me) Kentucky Gamers with me. Is there any specific treat we can bring up from the land of Bluegrass and the bountiful redneck? Is Bourbon something Wisconsonians will drink? Maybe moonpies? I'm going to go ahead and send some donation funds to your Paypal address. Thank you for opening your home for this event!
A nice idea (above) from the Kentucky Friend... If it's more convenient to donate for Frankenparty before the con, instead of hitting much-needed trip cash ($5 per person suggested), Paypal (to 'friend', avoid fees) directly to my email: [email protected] Thanks in advance. Prolly make this a regular feature. F
We can swing by the hotel before heading to Frank's. I'll have room for 2 more passengers. Just hold up your "Frank's or Bust" placards.
Weather update A tense moment as 4-6" of snow was forecast for Tuesday... but now down to 1-3" with 16 degrees overnight, producing Wednesday 35 degrees max, partly cloudy, winds 10 mph. So you should be able to park on the frozen lawn. ... and thanks for the party donations in advance from: Kentucky Fried Gamers Moon Design / Chaosium
I will be attending, just myself, after I get set up at the Comfort Suites. I should be ready to go at or about 4:30-5pm. I have space in my rental car for two additional people. Let me know here or on FB if you need a lift.
I'm also at the CS, but will be going to the GGR enroute...I'm driving a Crown Victoria, and should have room for at least 2 people, 3 if they don't mind slightly close quarters. Shoot me a PM if you need a lift.
So parking on the lawn is okay... but where else is the nearest parking since with the snow it is highly unlikely we can park on the road. Sorry If I missed where the additional parking is, I did a quick scan of the thread I must of missed it.
This is a repeated post but I want to make sure Frank and Deb know that the Pucketts are coming; Lee, Litta, and Traycie. We expect to arrive at or shortly after 3pm. We will park a few blocks away like we did last year to conserve space. We enjoyed following the signs last year.
