    That does sound like a good plan. Maybe I will try to make the early flight that Thursday, so that we can hang out that afternoon.

    That's another consideration - what gaming events will be offered in those slots?

    If there's a lot of popular events going on, maybe there won't be such a crush at the Pub (or maybe there will, anyway).
    If everyone avoids running slots then, cause they want to be at the Pub, then that's a non-factor.

    Thursday is supposed to be open gaming, I thought. So no events would be scheduled. Just old school, "hey you, you want in on a game?" kind of thing.

    My wife, the two kids, and I will be attending The Next Door Pub gathering.

    By the way...thanks to Bill and Elise and the rest of the Gygax family for putting the gathering together!

    OH, I guess we'll have to take that long eleven minute drive & wander into The Pub that afternoon. Haven't been there in, at least, two or three weeks.......

    Just to clarify, as I may be confused on this; open gaming is still on Wednesday, with the official games beginning on Thursday? If that is the case, then perhaps the crush won't be as great at the Pub, as official events will be taking place also at that time back at the hotel, unless people start ducking that particular patch of time when signing up for official events.

    There are no events scheduled on Wednesday. We don't take control of the resort space until Thursday.

    Open gaming, and now scheduled gaming, will start on Thursday.
