The Midwest Chapter of the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society held their annual Little Wars convention over this last weekend (April 23-25) and the turn out of about 750 attendees was up over last year's economic downturn low. Moving back from the main building to the raquet court building, as well as moving the dates back from late February (only available time, they said, last year) to its traditional time of late April helped regrow the numbers, too, I dare say.
