I was hoping to run a couple events this year. Would old school published AD&D/Gamma World modules be well received? (I'm thinking tentatively something midlevel from the I series for the D&D.) Has everyone already played them? Would altering them be sacrilege? I ran a couple of my own scenarios at Gen Con this year, and they went very well. But it was a ton of work. Just exploring options. All input welcome.
If you run it, they will play... There are a lot of people who haven't played the classic adventures and jump at the chance to do so.
Agreed, and I don't think folks would mind you tweaking published modules. You might actually get more players if you do that since folks who have already played through the module would get a fresh experience.
