That's right. You spend less time traversing the halls that way.

People unfamiliar with this hotel might not understand why traversing the halls is...interesting....

Any dungeon delver should try it at least once. ;)

You might even be able to wrangle up a guide / tracker for some coin.

Next thing you know a bunch of brigands set up a palisade outside the choicest hallway, extorting a toll for safe passage.

So you're saying it's brigands all the way to the Forum?

    Sweet!

My ax is +2 vs. brigands!

Pass them some gold-plated lead before jumping them.

Cross posted from the Facebook group and the Event Submissions Issues thread:

Important notice for all GMs and potential GMs:

As of about 10:30 am, Central time today (January 13th) we have closed event submissions after reopening them to allow in some stragglers.

Gaming space at the show is now pretty much full, especially on Friday and Saturday, and we have a small backlog of unscheduled events that, even now, we're fitting in where we can.

A hearty thank you to all out GMs. It's gonna be a great weekend!

    No kidding.

I managed to schedule something that has me up against Skip Williams!

The architect caught a severe case of Frank Loyd Wright. The place is laid out along the crest of a hill and sort of blends in with the topography. Nothing runs along a true compass line.

Yeah, well, that's not hard to do, I pop up all over the schedule. ;)

And it's a game I REALLY wanted to play, too. :(

May I recommend The Thing from 10-midnight Saturday night. It's a quick 2-hour game with lots of finger-pointing, opportunities for one-liners and is easy enough to drink while learning!
    Agreed!

The painful layout creates the only exercise I get for 4.5 days, so I'm all in favor of it.
