Otto von Grunwald had posted an old audio file of he and I playing Dungeon w/Gary some time back. I didn't do so well, but I had fun. And I will emerge victorious in the Circvs Maximvs!!

    ...sooner or later.

I have a copy of Dungeon! I really wish I had my dad's copy where he jazzed up some of the treasure in the lower levels (4th, 5th, 6th) to include some better magic items. Magic Armor, Boots of Speed, and more. It made the game a bit more exciting.

Anybody else out there modify their Dungeon game?

OH!!! TRADE WARS ;) , I thought you'd developed some new game, "TADE WARS." Yeah, I might be convinced to play that again. Just as long as your son doesn't play, or we only go out for smoke breaks on my turn. :D

I've got the electronic Dungeons & Dragons (good for two people); the one where you put up walls and run like hell from the dragon, if memory serves. If someone has a Dark Tower game that won't lock up half way through, that'd be groovy. Could also bring Civilization, History of the World, Rome, Risk Godstorm, Attack! or some Cheap Ass games, which are always fun.

Wow, lots of choices! I like 'em all.

But, but . . a giant game of Dungeon, then??? How many people can play??

[Now I've got to get the game!!]

    :p

I've got a working Dark Tower and I'll make sure to bring it to GaryCon II

I'm sick of watching Tim Kask's Circus Maximus! I wanna play

Do you mean the AH Republic of Rome boardgame? I have had that since 1994 and played it twice. It is pretty cool but not many folks want to give it a whirl. I'll play it though!

I also have a proto-type handhelp d&d electronic game that my Mom gave me. It is super cheesy as only early 80s video games can be- but super rare none the less.

I'd love to play that game again - unless you try to play during Tim's Circvs Maximvs event. I have an unclaimed bounty to win! ;)

First off, Circus Maximus is a must, I think we all know this. A Risk:2210 tournament? Awesome. I tried running that one year and it went well, though wasn't a tourney like I'd planned. I second a History of the World game, though it should be the original AH version, not the Hasbro/AH version.

I must admit that if the old AH Republic of Rome game is brought, you'll see me giving it a wide berth unless concessions are made to keep people from getting into fistfights. Or at least, I don't know anyone else at the table... this game nearly broke some friendships.

I'd suggest the Empires at Arms, but I don't think there's enough time in the weekend to set it up, much less play a round.

Alright! There's my first "Risk: 2210" player.

I'll have to see if I still have my copy of "History of the World."

I'm sure Melf would be wearing his official WWE ref's shirt for "Republic of Rome."

Instead of "Empires in Arms", howabout "Napoleon in Europe?" (Eagle Games.) Something about a bunch of toy soliders on a giant mapboard the gets my underwear itching. (Oui, no?)

I see no one has suggested "Starfleet Battles" as of yet, so I will. I don't have a viable copy of it anymore but if someone does this might be a great multi-player event. From what I've read on boardgamegeek the system has been revamped again. (I get to play a Klingon!! I got the forehead for it.) :)

Wow, the old Task Force game. I have not played this one since the early 80's.

    I loved the miniature starships.

Okay, I'm thinking about bring out of mothballs my copy of "The Warlord Game", by Robert Borth Williams. Last time I played it I convinced one of the players (who still is a very good friend) to let me surround his Duke with my forces to protect him from possible harm. ;) It was 4:00am, somewhere around turn 40 and I was getting tired. The punch to my jaw didn't really hurt, but, he was extremely pissed when I crushed him like a grape. ("YES, you let me surround you & I'll protect you" , SQUISH! KAPOW :!: I still raze him about it to this day. I know he'll want to play. Anyone else?
P.S. All other players will have to sit next to this guy, I'm staying on the other side of the table. :p

Since Sci Fi has been broached, how about some original Battletech? Not the over-teched stuff played nowadays, but the old 2nd Ed rules. Simple but challenging robot bashing.
