I just got a new computer, and my ToEE campaign is in Limbo at the moment. Would anybody be interested in playing in an online Lost City of Gaxmoor campaign? 1E Greyhawk. Or an old fashion Greyhawk/Zagyg Castle dungeon crawl?
Either one works for me. Never played either, really. But I own CZ:UW and have read/played mist of it if that is what you are thinking.
I have Lost City of Gaxmoor but haven't gotten around to read it. What do you think of it? Is it more of a sandbox design or a setting for series of linked adventures? Andy
I actually worked on Gaxmoor a bit with Ernie. The city itself is a very free-form adventure, but it has some very specific goals too. Gary talked to me about writing a sequel for it, since Ernie and Luke weren't interested, or have the time. I have some notes for an expanded undercity that I might try to work in if I run the adventure again. The more I think about it, the more appealing the Greyhawk Zagyg option sounds. I've been running big goal driven adventures for a while, and some mega-dungeon delving sounds fun.
Do you still have your character from before my computer crashed? The only copy I have is on my old hard drive.
