Event pre-reg closed on 2/5, I believe, so I think you'll have to wait until the con to now register for events, but don't quote me on all of that.

Okay, as the "Official Door Guy," our attendance last year was 260. The room bookings this year is double the number compared to last year- and given the issue of the resort being closed during the week, this is really positive. The numbers we are looking at are going to be on the high side (probably) of what Luke said. All in all, this should be a great gathering.

On the game availability, the number of games being run has increased in a big way- our catalog has grown in size. So there will not be an issue of being able to play. Just come and games will be running from 8 am til midnight. If you are not gaming- you are doing something wrong. There is always pick-up games (unannounced ones) and those can be some of the best.

We will see everyone in about 3 weeks. Be ready to game, celebrate, and have fun. It's what we do.

With the makings of a great turnout, I guess I may just have to bring Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh and run a pick-up game. So, if I run it, is there an interest? If so, what rule setting? I can run it with my "by the seat of the pants" AD&D 1E rules or I can run it with my "by the seat of the pants" Castle & Crusades rules.

I will bring pre-gen characters for those interested in playing. Yep, this sounds like something I should have ready to run.

I'm also trying to find my frakkin' Kill Dr. Lucky. I haven't been able to find it since before GaryCon last year and I've moved since then. Guess I could bring my D&D Clue game, eh? ;)

I'm always down for Saltmarsh, though I have no idea when I'll be available yet. If you need a Dr. Lucky copy, let me know and I'll bring my son's.

Sinister Secret is perhaps my favorite beginning module for AD&D. I'd definitely be down for some of that action providing I can schedule it around what I'm running for the DGS.

I think i have a new and unused copy of Kill Dr Lucky on my bookshelf. I can bring it if you want to use it. I played it once years ago and it was lots of fun!

Luke, if you can bring your copy I will commit to running a four hour slot of Kill Dr. Lucky. It's one of my favorite games and I've enjoyed playing it over the years. It's also virtually impossible to find a copy of the Cheap Ass version.

I don't know how a military guy such as yourself keeps track of everything with all the moving. It seems like I'm always losing something every time we move. Frustrating.

    Derek,

I lose plenty of stuff too unfortunately. I will bring Kill Dr Lucks- but it is not the Cheap Ass version. Let me know if that is a deal breaker. Otherwise let me know when you are running your event :)

I think I have a copy of the CheapAss version, but it's in storage right now, and I'm liable to not be able to look until January or so.

Not a problem at all. I've been thinking of picking up the new boxed set myself. I'd be more than happy to run it. I'll try and find out what day or time would be good to run the game.

Go with the Kill DrL Live. Works just fine, tho you need a bit o' room to map out the mansion.

Weeelll ::yawn:: I guess it's time to drive on over to Lake Geneva and see if anything's going on...

If not, I can always start something.

    Cya there.
