I posted this over at the FB page, but I just reserved a room at the Timber Ridge (on property but 1/2 mile walk). I thought both the Grand Geneva and the Timber Ridge were sold out of the Gary Con discounted rooms, but apparently some remain at Timber Ridge. These are suites - one or two bedroom with kitchens/living rooms. The rate for the one bedroom is $149 which is a great deal considering the size of the room and amenities. You can walk to the Grand (weather may be a factor) or use the trolley which runs all day.
On a related note, I got an email from the Geneva Ridge that they are booking rooms at $69 per night through the end of April 2016 (some exclusions apply, but apparently not during GaryCon). So, if you don't mind a drive to the Grand Geneva this year, and want a cheaper room, the Geneva Ridge may be worth looking at. Allan.
