Yeah, these things are very hard to be precise about. I have a note that says "168" came from Luke in a(n interview?) video.
Might there have been 168 sign-ups, and ~125-130 ATTENDEES? Or might the 168 include Garycon staff, vendors, etc?
Dunno. You'd have to ask Luke or find the video and see if he says, but I didn't bookmark it. From my recollection, it seemed like the estimates crept up gradually, 100-125-150-168.
It seems like most of the games I REALLY want to play in are scheduled for the same time I'm running games. Now I remember why I tended to run 8AM - Noon games in the past. Darn my desire for more sleep this year!
I give you special secret forum tip - the designers of Top Secret are unveiling their new espionage RPG at GaryCon http://garycon.com/community/index.php?threads/unveiling-a-new-game-at-gary-con.1363/ Also, there might not be any Gamma World, when all is said and done (not sure), but there will definitely be similar genre games. Metamorphosis Alpha (many sections run by the designer or other adventure authors) is a con favorite, for example.
Well, there are 2 Gamma World 2e events: http://garycon.com/game/the-house-of-the-glow/ http://garycon.com/game/against-the-serf-lord/
gizmomathboy - can you do a csv file of the event catalog after it is finalized? This helps since it can filtered and sorted in many ways.
With the event catalog getting finalized-ish today and the event registration happening Saturday, January 23rd I'm guessing that there won't be many more scrapings happening. Looks like we are up to 648 events now.
Thank you. Hopefully they have the Heidi and Duck game now. Will be able to view your file later today. Facebook announcement on more badges being offered through Friday. All levels are being added too in limited quantities. Appears that seating will be adjusted after Friday based on more badges being offered. Tight to try to do registration Saturday.
Thanks - these are great! Maybe if the event costs are added with enough lead time, you could get a run that captures those?
