I was thrilled to see GaryCon happen LATE in March. That is perfect for my schedule. Woohoo! I have two AD&D games for my campaign world to run, one HOTT wargame based in my campaign world and the Sunday Morning Battletech game. When are submissions starting?
Just as an FYI - I found the answer elsewhere - tentatively 9/1 - http://garycon.com/community/index.php?threads/event-submission-for-gary-con-2017.1599/#post-18095
We hope to open game submission September 1st. I'm finishing up my plans now: 2 D&D/Pathfinder events (two sessions each), one Dawn Patrol, two seminars. Yippie!
Event submission is Sept 10th. The event submission page is active and updated. Although they list the submissiom date sept 10th 2017 which is a good 6 months after the con
The date was a typo on the site (of course). Submission begins on Sept 10th and will be through Table Top events Page
I switched gears and decided to revive an old school wargame at GaryCon - "Rules by Ral" which has been reborn as Chaos Wars 2.0 from the Ral Partha kickstarters. I have two sessions of those currently "In Review" - crossing fingers they'll accept, as I think they'll be great fun to watch. I am up for a pick up HOTT game though!
Does one need a separate Table Top Events login to sign up to run? I logged into GC page and went to link. It directed me to back to Garycon.com EDIT: I think I figured it out. Never mind!
I know submission just started, has anyone heard of around when they are thinking it will close and word on registration might be coming? G
According to the Event Submissions page: This establishes the first - "Early Bird" - deadline as 10/31/2016. I'm not aware of any other hard deadline that has been established.
I still want to know if ALL GMs get the shirt or if it's just these few now. Or do some get TWO shirts?
I little birdie told me, and it appears to be partially confirmed by a response in this post on FaceBook, that event submission will likely run until at least December, if not the end of the year.
We have not decided when event submissions will close. However, the cutoff for getting a GM shirt is October 31st. We likely will still accept events after that, but you'll no longer qualify for a shirt.
