It seems I made an error - and there are two events I can't attend. Who should I notify about this? Will there be a mechanism at the con to make attendees aware of available tickets ?
No worries: If you don't show up for the game in question, the GM is allowed to take in walk-ups. That's the beauty of Gary Con: Extremely walk-up friendly.
So will there be event registration at the registration desk or do you just have to find an open seat somewhere?
each table should have a colored flag for seating. Red for no more open seats. Green for open seat looking for players
This is correct. Every single table with have a big sign that indicates RED= Full, GREEN = Needs players.
