As those who played in the Scouts of Zidium and Battle of Zidium events at GC V heard me say already, Domains at War is Autarch's attempt to create a Chainmail for contemporary gamers - a wargame whose rules are so organically related to the RPG system that you can set up a battle and zoom in and out from the individual scale to the clash of armies with the confidence that the mass-combat results are similar to what you'd have gotten by playing it out with a bucket of d20s, fast-playing and fun enough to play in its own right but also fitting into the "domain game" of high level characters' strongholds and followers. We're funding it on Kickstarter, and one of the rewards is that backers at the Imperator level can specify an illustration and get the original piece of art. All fourteen players in the recurring Gary Con Night of the Walking Wet campaign are well advised to check out the one that's previewed in the latest update for an inside joke!
