@Skip and whomever else. I was looking through the event catalog and noticed this for Gaming Systems: AD&D (1st Ed.) AD&D (1st Ed) AD&D (2nd Ed) D&D (1st Ed) D&D (3rd Ed) D&D (5th Ed) D&D (Basic) D&D (Original) I know it's a bit late to probably fix but Should all those AD&D be in the D&D format, just for consistency's sake?
D&D 1st Ed we could do without. We need only one AD&D 1st Ed listing. All the rest refer to distinct versions of the game (trust me, this is something I know a great deal about).
@Skip I was only really commenting on that there were (are?) 3 ways to find 1st edition. Not there there are 2 AD&D with 1st Ed (with and without a .) I would figure everything should collapse into: D&D (1st Ed) D&D (2nd Ed) D&D (3rd Ed) D&D (5th Ed) D&D (Basic) D&D (Original)
AD&D and D&D are two different animals and that list is really confusing. People will be thinking that D&D (1st Ed) means OE D&D and that D&D (2nd Ed) means BECMI.
@dndgeek I might agree except for that in the catalog there is Original, Basic, 3rd, and 5th editions. Internally consistent but maybe not consistent with community(?) convention. Basic will have to do for BECMI, Moldvay, etc. I guess. Are you volunteering to sort out Game System categories for next year? ;-) No, I'm not volunteering either.
