It seems like youth and spectator badges changed this year. Youth is now 8 and under and spectator is $20. I have been bringing my family to the con for years now, and I have been getting the spectator badge for my wife. I didn't really mind the $10 price last year. But now I have to pay $40 for two badges and I don't really know what I get out if them. They don't play in any ticketed games but they do like to spend money in the dealer hall. I love this con, it's become a yearly event my whole family looks forward to. Soon my one kid will be old enough to game on her own and I'll be more than happy to get her a regular badge. I already have the tickets in the cart and tomorrow I will check out, I just feel they should get something for $20 apiece, other than just bein allowed to stay in the hotel.
