    Howdy All,

I thought I would point this auction out to folks here as Michael was one of the original D&D players in Gary's Greyhawk campaign in Lake Geneva.

It is an auction but as always I pride myself on bringing out some of the history. There are some interesting stories and trivia about Michael's gaming with Gary, Rob, Ernie, Dave Arneson, Dave Sutherland, and Phil Barker you might find it worth checking out:

    Paul,

There is some amazing stuff in those auctions! Question.. I burned through my PayPal send limit a while back (I refuse to give those chintzy b*stards my bank account number).

Is it possible to pay by check or money order. (prays for a yes answer)

    Andy

PS - Was great reading all the background info; thanks for posting it along with the auction lot info! I'm still kicking myself for letting the DCS auction pass me by a few years ago (not least since the proceeds went towards his medical care)..

Really excellent, Paul! I enjoyed reading the thread. I was glad to meet Michael after chatting online with him on Rob's forums for a few years. Good guy . . . and a nice collection!!! :D

    Howdy,

Thanks Ross. Michael is a great guy. Hope he can attend GC next year. Hopefully with a couple of good auctions he will! ;)

    Howdy All,

Michael wants to pass along his thanks to everyone who bid and I thank you for your continued support.

A terrific result! Total is $2,586.76 for 32 items. The highest number of page views goes to the Greyhawk Castle map at 345 and the highest number of watchers is tied between Warriors of Mars and the Greyhawk Castle map at 40. The Guidon Chainmail gets the highest number of bids with 18!

Perhaps sometime next year the economy will be recovered enough to put forth some of the bigger auctions for Darlene, Zeb Cook, and Dennis Sustarre.
