I will be visiting Pennsylvania this coming June to see my nephew's graduation from high school. Tentatively my plans are to fly out of Lambert International in St. Louis to Philadelphia and return to Lambert in a week's time.

My question is--How much time does it take to get through the TSA search line? The last time I flew out of St. Louis was in 1999, and as I remember it took me a half-hour to get through baggage check-in, and I had to answer some questions about whether my bag was in my possession at all times, whether anyone asked me to carry any items for them on the plane, etc. I imagine with having to empty my pockets and remove my shoes and all the rest, it will be much longer to get through.

Thanks in advance for any and all answers, especially those with first-hand experience with St. Louis air travel.
