Do you have your final pull from last year, Giz? I'd love to, in all my spare time, slice and dice that a bit...

My plan is to buy all of the gold badges in one fell swoop. I'm leaving the Platinum and Diamond for diaglo and his ilk, and the Silver for the plebes.

    I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!!!!!

@jim skach The data I have (which I think is close to what the final was, I can't recall how much I pulled once the gary con site got the data out there) is at http://gizmomathboy.com/
    u: gary
    p: gygax

You can export it into a csv file.

It looks like the last csv file I have (that I probably used to create my db is dated 2015-02-09). I can share that with via other means if you like.

Because I'm waiting for code to compile...

Last year's GP event GM's lined up against this year's Special Guests. Sort of.

    Idle hands and all that...

@sir jon I attempted a triple negative earlier today...it mostly succeeded. The judges gave me the silver.

you got a silver? I thought registration wasn't for two more days? Did you hack the system?

@jim skach Hey man, I'm just clicking on buttons over here. What happens when I'm clicking the buttons is the buttons' fault #clickshamingisrealyo.

    Hey all.......I'm baaaaaack! :D

THANK YOU to whoever made the decision to make this vast improvement to the registration process.

I for one will welcome this change. It is long overdue in my opinion. If the last five years has taught us anything, it is that the bum rush registration system sucks!!!

That being said, does anybody know if the gold badges will be offered to past gold badge holders first? (like Gamehole does it) We have bought gold every year so far and I would hate to miss out on getting one this year just because there is a cap on them.

    Thanks!

If I'm buying badges for the two of us, should I do that with two different TableTop.Events accounts?
Does TableTop.Events easily support management of two badges and their game registration from one account ... as easily as with two accounts?

    Best,
    Jon

Hey Gizmo -- one thing I don't know if you considered in your computations is that only X% of tickets will be available for events at any given stage of early-registration, where 100% of the event tickets will be available during Silver registration. So, we'll make (I don't know the actual percentages, yet) some percentage available to Diamond/Platinum/Gold, and then all the remaining tickets available during regular registration. This permits us to maintain a ticket "economy" while not creating a monopoly for those folks that paid for VIP tickets.

There are still some events that may not have that restriction -- like Celebrity events, or something like that, but as there are no events in the system yet, I can't comment on that.

    $8.14 "convenience fee"?

Hey Ceronmous -- we pay a fee to Tabletop.events for their service, and we pay a fee to allow for Credit Card purchases. So half of that service fee is to TTE, and half of that is to Stripe.

Yeah...it was convenient to use the new system.

If event registration goes as smoothly, that will seem a pittance of a price to pay for a working system...

There doesn't seem to be a rush to purchase badges, however, based on that only 51 silver badges have been purchased 10 minutes in...

I think the rush is for Gold and Platinum, honestly, due to the limited quantities.

True. The platinum are gone, but there are still 18 gold at the moment.
